1. There has been debate over if this movie is genuine or a "mockumentary". What do you think? If it was a mockumentary - why would Bansky do this?
Mockumentary is type of film or television show in which fictitious events are presented in documentary format. I think mockumentary, because they want what they think to let people see.

2. What do you think the street artists are trying to get across to the public with their graffiti?
How can you tell they were effective?
Because they are street artist, they want to send out the message that they want people to know by their arts.

3. What do you think that Mr. Brain Wash was trying to get across to the public with his art? Was he effective?

4. What do you see as the key differences between the street artists work and MBW's work?
MBW's work have a message that is different than street artist. Street artists are just their interested in graffitis, and MBW was like have a message that's being sent out from his art.

5. At the end of the show lots of people showed up to the art show.  Why the long line? What brought so many people together?
The message that they sent out from their art brought many people together, the people who were there know the meaning of the street art (graffiti).

6. Graffiti: Is it art or vandalism? How would you react to someone painting on your wall? What similarities do you see between graffiti and guerilla marketing? Where is the line for Shepard Fairey or Banksy, when they move from making art against the mainstream machines into making money off of their art from the mainstream machines? Did they sell out or did they achieve success?

I think it is vandalism. IF someone painted on my wall, I don't mind, but like they didn't at for my permission to paint on my wall, I'll won't be nice as well. The similarities between these two are they cost less money, buy earn more money.

Autocratic Leadership - all decision-making powers are centralized in the leader
Laissez-Faire Leadership - a free-rein leader does not lead, but leave the group entirely to itself
Democratic Leadership - decision-making by the group
I think if I'm managing a store, and an employee who constantly late for work, and unmotivated when they are at work, what I will do first is ask them if they have any problem, or is there something happen to him/her. I will use both Laissez-Faire and Democratic leadership because I want to leave the group like what it is, but make decision for the group sometimes.

Customer service is the provision of service to customers before, during and after a purchase. I think customer service is important because if we have a bad customer service, customers won't buy our product, and maybe they will tell other customers to not to buy our product, because we have a bad customer service. IF we have a good customer service, customers will buy our product, and tell others to buy our product, and tell them we have good customer service, and they will buy other product.

What I learn from Stanley's video

The video talked about engagement, every employees sees themselves in a active participate in the business, they can make decisions, they can be involve in those decision, and they are powered to decided which way they want to move. Leadership, someone who stand back and get supports to the front line, and the ability to be engage those decisions. Visible leadership is very important to all the levels. If they want leaders to model certain behaviors, they have be good at modeling that for them. Leading doesn't mean the decisions and the powered always come from the top. Those decisions were made on the top, and the rest of the organization were excused. West jet, a lot of the decisions comes from the bottom, but not to lead the change, and dis- support them. The important of cultural, hot it fits to run a successful business. How you get there, how culture help you get there is what important.

What physic taught me about marketing

Newtons law
force= mass x acceleration
The more massive a brand, the more baggage is has. The more force is needed to change the positioning.
you cannot prove a hypothesis through observation. you can only disprove it
In science, marketing is getting easier. In physic, you can never measure the accurate or exact particles, because the observation change it. In marketing, we can try to measure what customers actually do.
entropy was a measure of the disorder of a system will always increase. You can't fight it, so embrace it, and find a way to work with it.

I think food is going to generate and most profit for the store because I had bought candies there, the price is cheap, the foods are healthy. I looked at the Inventory worksheet, all the items that are sold were the food. And other categories haven't been sold much as the food on the sheet. And I think many people love to eat gum, and they sold gum in the store, so I think the food will be sold the best.

Opening activity for Day51

I disagree with the first statement because i think not many people will bring cash out, everyone bring visa cards, or master cards ect.. Even though the price is cheaper, people don't bring cash, if they want to buy it, they can't buy it, because it's cash only.
I disagree with the second statement because if i can't pay for something, and that doesn't mean I can't afford it, just i can't afford it right now, but maybe u can afford it later, but not right now.
I agree with statement 3 & 4 because i think people really need credits to do somethings, people should use it, but don't have to be a lot. What if people need to buy a huge thing, and they don't have the credits from the bank. So i think people should start get use to the credits.

Thanks for asking how we are doing. We do well. It's going good. People motivating me by telling me I'm going to do well, don't give up this thing, and you can do well. I think if someone got higher mark than me in math, and that will motivate me because I'm good at math, and I don't let someone get a higher mark than me, I can't leave that person get a higher mark than me every time, that motivates me. I can se this in my work because I can treat this like a math competition, motivates myself.

Some of the Apple Ipods is in the decline stage of it is life cycle. I think it is in decline stage of it's life stage because the technology is getting newer, newer, and newer. As the technology is getting newer, company starts competing on newer technology, and people started catching up on newer technology, and people are getting use of the new technologies, and the old ones people don't use them anymore, so their market is declining, and most of the people want new technologies. If not, why there are so many people waiting in the line for a brand new product of Apple.

Print advertising (newspaper, magazines...), outdoor advertising (billboards, events...), broadcast advertising (TV, radio, and internet), covert advertising (advertising in movies), surrogate advertising (advertising indirectly), public service advertising (advertising for social causes), and celebrity advertising.
I like how they advertise the twilight sega: Breaking Dawn Part 1. I like how the marketers market the people to watch the Breaking Dawn because I think many people had watch the movies that came before the Breaking Dawn, and people don't feel like reading the book, and they choose to watch the movie. For me, I don't like to read novels, so they make the movies is actually better, because in 2 hours, and it explains all the things in the novel. I think many people would like to watch it because the Twilight Sega is popular, and famous  because Stephanie Mayer wrote these 4 excellent book, and the director make 4 excellent movies too.
good ad.   bad ad. not making sense.

Guerilla Marketing is to create a unique, engaging and thought-provoking concept to generate buzz, and consequently turn viral. (from Wikipedia). I like the Fast Lane idea because I think many customers buy a product first on the impression of the product, id the product catches customers' eyes, and customers will buy the product. For the Fast Lane idea, i really like it because that really caught customer's attention to it, and customers are having fun with it.

And in the cab, when u walk in, is cold in there, a normal air conditioning, and a box of ice in front over there, and a box of candies, you can take how many you want. And the cab driver have a good services because he ask if customers are not hurry, he's going to do the speed limit. Sooo cuuute. And the cab driver talks to the customers, have a good relationship of the customers, make their day not to be boring.

Solvent - able to meet debts or discharge liabilities. I don't think it is possible for a business to be solvent but not profitable, because to open up a company, the main thing people open up a business is to make a profit, either it's for charities, or for your own, you are still making profits, but if you are not making profits, you shouldn't open a business.

Opening activity for Day 24

I think that many things could cause businesses end up with a bad reputation, or some problems with the person who owns the businesses. I think the first thing that could cause a business end up with a bad reputation because the person who owns the business have a bad personality, or a bad reputation about the person. For example, a person smokes cigarettes, drink lots of alcohol, and like don't care about the business, have a bad reputation, consumers are not going to buy products from he's business, because people like to buy products that have a nice boss, with a good reputation. =)

If we have a non-destroy energy, we help our planet, there's not gonna be many wastes from those energy, there's like less chemicals in our environment, and we can save our planet. And I think his ideas was amazing because we all want to live in a healthy environment, and i think if we have these kind of energy, we will have a way more better environment to live in.

I think he meant that don't let someone or something tell you to do something, don't let something control you. Believe in yourself what's right, not your sense of moral tells you what's right or not. To believe yourself is better than just your sense of moral. Do something you think what's the right. Don't let some other thing to control you, you have your own thinking. Trust yourself, and believe yourself.

I think cigarettes are unethical, because i think it's bad for people that smoke it. People smoke them because they think it's fun to smoke cigarettes, but i think the people who produce the cigarettes are like bad person. They want to make money, but they sold cigarettes that make cause people death, or cause people ill (such as lung cancer...). The cigarettes are unethical, because they make people get sick, and can't get rid off it.

Opening activity for Day27

I think this is similar to what happened to the Wall-street. And now it affects the students. Like they said “We don’t want to live in an economic system where compassion isn’t factored into the equation.” No one wants to live in an economic system where compassion isn't factored into the equation. We all want live in a beautiful, no unfair treating, no financial problems, everyone are EQUAL, and everyone in the world is a big family. WE ARE A BIG FAMILY, so we don't want am economic system around us.

2. I think a good advertisement will make lots of money, because they do good on advertising, and good on their product. For example, the Apple Company do good on their advertising on their electronic products, such as IPhones, and IPods, ect..

3. Here's a bad advertisement. I think a bad advertisement is the ad. don't catch people's eyes. I think that's the big problem.

Yes, I think her facts are correct, because I think women have too much work to do, and men are just doing what they do. I think the world will change if women have more leadership roles, because women works twice or triple more work than men, women work way more harder. Women have to do their work and house work. What about the men? The finish their work, just watch soccer games, or play games, they don't care about house work. The laziness of men are higher than women.

They need to tell why they do the speech, why it's important to the speakers. The speakers need to strongly believe what they believe in to convince other people. Because if the speakers do not strongly believe what they believe in, maybe the speaker may probably change their believes, and don't have a strong point. Tell people what they believed in. Different people have different point of views, the speaker needs to have a strong point to convince different people for different purposes.

    Business

Profit is like a company makes money and the big cheque to the big boss. Costo is a profitable company.

Non-profit is like all the money company makes, goes to the charity. Wikimedia is a non-profit charitable organization in San Francisco, California, US.

Not-for-profit is like the money company makes, goes back to the company. The military museum is a not-for-profit company.

The difference between non-profit and not-for-profit is a non-profit company gives all their moneys to the charity, and a not-for-profit company use the money they earned back into the company.

You earned profits, and you want more money, you need to buy more materials, the materials cost money, and you'll use your money, and make it, and you'll earn more profits.

Maybe some people like it, and some people don't. It's good for our environment, it's a renewable energy. It's natural. It's way more expensive then oil.

Advance to Boardwalk - It's similar to The Monoply. It's like you need to walk around the cardboard, buy houses, rent to other players, buy more and more houses, build hotels, and earn money for other players.
